Stevie Ray Vaughan Stratocaster Guitar

The legendary Stevie Ray Vaughan collaborated with Fender to produce a signature Stratocaster guitar shortly before his tragic and untimely death in 1990. The resulting Stevie Ray Vaughan Stratocaster features an early '60s "oval" neck shape, pao ferro fingerboard with jumbo frets, three Fender Texas Special single-coil pickups, gold-plated hardware, inverted left-hand vintage tremolo unit and distinctive "SRV" pickguard. Our homage to a true master.

I play Both Blues and Gospel and this guitar does it both very well.Neck has a nice feel smooth edges.Tone dogs those Texas special pickups have.1st one I bought had a bad neck but I swapped out for another and both werer consistant with tone and great playablity. Sounds great at low volumes or cranked up to meltdown volumes.Very throaty tones awesome. YOU cant go wrong with this wonderful tribute guitar. The Sky might be crying but you wont cry owning this axe.

I have had this guitar for about6 months. It is awesome. The neck is one of the nicest Fender makes. The finish with the gold hardware is a pleasure to look at.The one thing that impresses me is the tone of the guitar. These pickups have so much depth and character,it is hard not to get great tone out of it.The flatter radius took some time getting use to ,but once I adjusted, it made my playing better. The workmanship is great.

Just got my SRV model in the mail a few days ago, and must say that it is a pretty nice addition to my ever growing collection of guitars. Initially I was concerned that the "D" sized neck might be an issue due to size. But not the case, the neck is great, it fits my hand perfectly. The finish is great, and the hardware is good. The reversed tremelo takes some getting used to, and the pick guard is not flush at one spot. The price tag seems to be about right, but no more than that. Overall a great instrument to pay tribute to the blues master. You will not be disapointed if you purchase this instrument.
