ok, yes i have only used it, but first off i give features 10 b/c the 3 humbuckers and really cool p-up selector that has either 6 or 7 dif. settings. quality is a 9 b/c its not your high end gibson, but it is still a gibby. Value 10, who wouldn't pay for something this awesome. Overall is ten b/agin its a gibby and it plays so aweesome. Playability, action is pretty much perfect nice and low. As for the tone, that is another story, it will absolutely blow you away. Youmight not wanna buy this cuz it has open coils, but if you don't like that look just buy some covers, b/c these babies are HOT!! i played this at my local music shop and the only diff. was that the body was black instead of white. all i got to say is you'll love it.

Holy cow. I was floored when I first saw this guitar. Three pickups, Gibson quality, and a price tag below 1000 bucks?! You've got to be kidding me. I can't wait till I get mine. The faded white finish looks cool and original too.

Anonymous Musician's Style: hard rock and blues
great guitar! I love the shape because it goes with every style, but has more personality than a les paul or a strat, and I love the sound. if what you really like are soft single-coil-pickup type of light overdrive, then you may not be entirely happy. This baby is a loud screamer even when the amp's gain is dialed low. although by reducing the volume on the guitar you can get that very soft crunch (or use the clean channel really loud). otherwise, this SG is perfect for all kinds of rock, from poppy chord progressions and bluesy licks to hard rock and metal, and I find it to be equally good for rythms and leads. just crank it up and let her sing. my only reservation is the pickup selector that is very confusing. it goes 1 neck, 2 neck+middle, 3 middle, 4 middle+bridge, 5 bridge and 6 bridge+neck (you can't get all three at once) but it requires some getting used to, and you can't really switch from one position to the other quickly in the heat of the action. On the other hand it makes for a pretty wide array of sounds at your fingertips. I really wish it came with a hardshell case, it would have been perfect.
