25th Anniversary Stratocaster Guitar

This limited time edition was issued to celebrate the 25th year of the Stratocaster. Perhaps most exciting about this guitar was the lack of the tilt-neck adjustment that so many felt ruined the Fender (CBS) Stratocaster. Also missing is the "bullet" truss rod adjustment in favor of a return to the body end adjustment.

The first 500 or so pieces of this edition where painted in a pearloid-white Huffy Bicycle paint, which proved to fragile for this use. Fender transitioned to a metallic silver Porsche paint which proved to be much more durable for the remainder of this guitars run.

Nice guitar. all original with ash tray cover and whammy bar..Nice bell like clarity tones like a strat should have. A little on the heavy side tho. Paint turning a green color but stilllooks nice. Great maple neck.
