The Paul II Guitar

The original The Paul of the late 1970s was Gibson's first no-frills guitar with all the essential features of a Les Paul. The next-generation The Paul II adds the elegance of a carved top and a lacquer finish while retaining the affordability associated with the name The Paul.

Originally Bought Used in 99 for $400.00 in black.

I think the Paul II is all the guitar anyone really needs. If you have the cash for a LP, and you really want one, its all good. I personaly can do without the cosmetics of fancy inlays and such. Plus I honestly don't like the thickness of a LP. Les Pauls feel too bulky to me, but thats just my preferance.
