American Vintage Guitars |
In 1981, Dan Smith and John Page began an effort to turn around Fenders reputation by closing down the Fullerton plant and reworking the entire process of how Fender made guitars. The goal was to once again turn out a high quality guitar. The Vintage reissues- a 1957 and 1962 Stratocaster along with the 1952 Telecaster- were the first guitars put out under the new program.
