Les Paul Junior Guitars |
The Les Paul Junior, introduced in 1954, was the economy Les Paul model. With its no-nonsense look, a single P-90 pickup, and a price of $49.50 it was an instant hit. The Junior remained a single cutaway guitar through 1957. In 1958, Gibson changed the Junior's body shape, adding a double cutaway version while continuing the popular single-cutaway model.
